"Unlocking the Knowledge within Pages: A Warm Welcome to Your Book Summarizing Maven"
Books... something that is so educational yet not many want to read them. Why?
On my journey I want to find out exactly that and bring books closer to my audience. I know that many people out there feel like reading a book is boring and honestly? I do not blame you because it kind of is. Reading a book releases such a low amount of dopamine that our brain would rather scroll on social media mindlessly than just forcing ourself through those 10-15 minutes a day. But not many think about how much better those 10-15 minutes are spent opposed to the hours upon hours wasted for scrolling.
Its true, me too, at times would rather sit on my phone all day long than do anything productive because why not? Its fun and I do not really have to do anything other than lying in my bed, oh and also, if my brain is happy why would I not be? Afterall doing things you like releases more dopamine than studying or working on something and so is it not just better to stick to the fun activities?
We live in the age of information where technology is literally everywhere. I am speaking not only about phones and computers but also the growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that can do all our work for us and leave no reason for us to really stick to analog sources anymore. But the problem is that false info and fake news spread way quicker than the truth and the same concept applies to the contents of books. Out of 10 online resources, how many of them do you think are actually qualitative? And out of 10 books, how many do you think are actually high quality information? Do youu see what I mean? What I am trying to say is that sticking to books will always be the better alternative to reading information online.
I am sure many of you know Wikipedia and have used or atleast heard of it before. Yes, it does have a ton of information but how in-depth is it really? Books often provide a more in-depth exploration of a topic than online sources. While online articles and resources can be helpful for quick reference or basic information, books often provide a more comprehensive and detailed analysis of a subject.
In my newsletter I want to take the “hard” work off of your hands and read certain books instead of you and give you a weekly summarization on whatever book I read that week. Here´s a deal: The topics touched on above will be elaborated more in upcoming articles and in return I receive your subcription which afterall is free and of course you can unsubscribe at anytime. Alternatively you can leave me feedback so I can make sure to be the best version of myself and improve the quality of my posts.
If you have made it this far, thank you so much for taking time out of your day to read my article, which since it is my first one might not be perfect. Afterall noone is, right? I hope to educate you more in my next article in which I will cover “Atomic Habits” by James Clear.
